Handprint Flowers in a Glass Vase

This beautiful gift is perfect for Mother’s day as it’s personal and very pretty and would make any mummy or nanny/grandma very happy.

1. Make hand prints on a piece of paper or card, whatever colours you would like the flowers to be.

2. Draw out leaf shapes on a piece of paper.

3. Colour in the leaves with wax crayons, paints, felt tips and cut them out.

4. Cut out the handprints and attach a straw (we used a green one) to the the handprint using cellotape. A good tip is to attach the bend top part of the straw to the handprint so it allows you to bend the flower where you like. Then attach the leaf with cellotape to the middle of the straw.

5. To make a vase for the flowers, clean out a jar, we used baby food jar, then using glass paints decorate the jar. My little one painted on pictures of her nanny.
